The Holiday Fun Rally is planned to be a relaxed, self-paced tour covering a number of scenic neighborhoods and roads in the Tucson area. It’s a great way for members who are new to the area, as well as long-time residents, to get familiar with parts of the Old Pueblo! It will be an enjoyable day for both participants and their Ultimate Driving Machines. At the conclusion of the drive, we will gather for a post-rally dinner. This event is also our Chapter’s fundraiser for Toys for Tots. It’s an opportunity for us to think about and give to children – and their families that may not have had the same opportunities as us.

Since we are not holding our traditional 2^nd Thursday dinner in December, members who choose not to participate in the rally are encouraged to register for just the dinner portion of the event. 

Members can register for the Fun Rally, the post-rally dinner or both activities.

The “entry fee” for the Rally will be a donation to Toys for Tots (see below). Those participating in the post-rally dinner only, are also asked to bring Toys for Tots donations.

We will gather at the Wells Fargo branch located at 6920 E Sunrise Dr (SW corner of Kolb and Sunrise) starting at 12 pm. We will hold a short participants meeting around 12:20 pm, with the rally kickoff at 12:30 pm. You will receive printed driving directions for the rally at the participants meeting.

A post-rally dinner will be held at Bottega Michelangelo’s located at 420 W Magee Rd starting at approximately 4:30 pm.  Bottega Michelangelo is a casual Southern Italian neighborhood kitchen. The menu highlights the cuisine of Southern Italy with a distinct “Italy to Table” flair.

What kind of toys can I donate?

• new
• un-wrapped
• preferably around the $10 or above price range
• books are also needed (children receive 2 toys each and 3 books count as ONE gift!)
• homemade toys are also accepted
• generally for children up to 15 years old
• cash or check (made out to Toys for Tots Tucson)
