Nearly fifty members and guests attended our Annual Dinner and Business Meeting at a Tucson classic restaurant, Pinnacle Peak Steak House. Our guest speaker was Jeff Caldwell, president of the National Board of Directors. Yes we did have a wonderful time!

Saturday morning we were up early to represent the club at the La Encantada Cars & Coffee which, although the temperatures started out below freezing, was also very well attended and was a real blast!!! Charles Watson received the much coveted Peoples Choice Award for his beautifully restored BMW and per the owner, “My 1977 BMW e24 began life as a 630. During the extensive restoration process, I came across a turbo motor from a gray market Euro 745 and made the necessary mods to transplant that motor into my car. So, per BMW badge convention, my car would be a 645, had BMW made such a car in 1977. 
Perhaps my car is an e24 retro 645.”
