Event Details

There’s a lot to see and do in Tombstone, Arizona during the Wyatt Earp days weekend, beginning Saturday, May 25th, 2024. Our Sonora Chapter drive to this historic town will start out from Tucson, Arizona early enough for us arrive and to park together off Allen Street, next to the Long Branch Saloon. That establishment opens for breakfast at 8am, and afterwards, we have plenty of time to roam the streets of the “Town too Tough to Die”, before exploring the “Tough Nut Mine Tour” together about 10 am. After the tour, the town will be starting to fill up with spectators and performance artists.

So come along with us for an early ride into this historic town, or else show up for the mine tour around 10am, or just drive up later on and take your chances with the parking otherwise made available. We don’t need to make reservations for the Long Branch breakfast group or the mine tour, but it would be nice if you gave us an RSVP so we can tell the wait staff as well as the mine tour operator how many to expect. They are equipped to take plastic or cash.

Western wear is the dress code of the day, but don’t think you are obligated to have on your western duds. No open carry firearms are permitted, however. Wyatt wouldn’t like it.
