Luminaria Nights

The artists’ colony of Tubac, Arizona will be our meeting place. There’s plenty of free parking there for our BMWs, and as the early December sunlight fades into the western sky, the shops and restaurants are staying open. The entire town puts on a festive glow of luminaries to light your path. Warm drinks are provided. Firepits at irregular intervals will also be maintained to take some of the desert air ‘chill’ out of night-time Tubac.

We are offering this venue as a casual meeting place for our club members. There are a fair amount of good restaurants there to enjoy a delicious dinner. The festive glow of this holiday prequel event will no doubt prove memorable.

We’re simply planning to meet in Tubac, Arizona for this event. There’s no meeting place or ‘caravan’ prior to arriving. Tubac is approximately 50 miles South of Tucson off of Interstate 19, just past Amado. You probably want to take the E. Frontage Road off of I-19 to the plaza area to park and walk around.

It isn’t necessary to rsvp for this event, although it may be a good idea to make a reservation at the restaurant of your choice if you plan to have dinner.
